Legal Question in Construction Law in Pennsylvania

as a contractor, how much liability do they have to a job and if things go wrong after a job is finished?

To answer your question completely, I would need more information. Who is "they"? What is the job? Generally, the contractor is responsible for anything that goes wrong after the job, as long as it is related to the job. That is why I strongly encourage my clients to purchase general liability insurance that includes paying for attorney representation if the client is ever sued. I also encourage my clients to take safety classes and skills training classes. Good luck.
