Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Civil Complaint

I was served complaint papers from American Express for outstanding credit card debt. I do not have the money to pay them right now.What would you recommend my next step to take.

Contact a consumer attorney and have them review the lawsuit. Credit card lawsuits are a little different from other lawsuits. The company has to prove every last detail in its case against you, and a good consumer attorney should be able to assist in your defense.

Time is of the essence in these matters. You must respond within a timely matter to the complaint or other notices or a judgment may be entered against you.
