Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Debt owed

I borrowed money from a friend, he provided more then I asked for we signed no agreements in addition we have no legal contracts between us. Though I have been paying a little each month. Even though he keeps threatening me with legal action. What can he actually do if we have no agreed upon schedule and to be very honest I am not collectible. I have no belongings.I want to continue to pay him and I will in small amounts as I havec money but I have no idea what else to tell say. I don't like being threatened by legal action is that considered harrasment. Also he is located in the UK and I am in the US

Re: Debt owed

Pay him as much as you can when you can. If there is really a problem with harassment, you can always have an attorney send him a letter of representation then he will have to communicate only with the attorney.
