Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Document Fraud

I signed a lease for a car in the beginning of June. The dealer found a mistake on that lease, re-wrote it (with a change in the conditions, payments, etc.) and then signed my name on it without telling me. Are they at all liable for that, and is there anything that I can do?

Re: Document Fraud

I suggest you consult an attorney. Alteration of the lease obligation was improper and should subject the dealer to penalties. In addition to the forgery the manner in which you have described the alteration should be reported to the Pennsylvania Department of Consumer Protection. I urge you to seek legal assistenc as the facts may be different than presented.
