Judgement issued by court

Had an individual file suit to claim monies for unpaid bill. District Justice awarded claim for set amount of $641.18 This included court costs. I have made payments on this amount but now claiment wants more than amount awarded by District Justice. They are requesting $752.00 Can they do that?

The judgement creditor can only demand six percent interest on the judgement. However, he is not required to accept a payout unless the District Justice order it. If a request for execution for a levy was made a demand for those cost added to judgement is proper. I suggest you contact an attorney or the District Justice. Be prepared to proove the payments you made.
