There is no lien on your checking account. There is a judgment. Once a hold is placed on the money, it is going to be turned over to the creditor absent unusual circumstances (for example, if the hold was wrongly placed by the bank on funds that were exempt). The money is not coming back as your funds are not exempt unless they are from Social Security, Railroad Retirement, VA benefits, worker's comp. or unemployment comp.

Once the judgment is resolved, the judgment will be marked satisfied and your bank account will not be further levied upon. The money seized thus far may be part of your resolution but unless the funds are exempt under the reasons I outlined they are not coming back.
