Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Past Due Account

I had a subscription to a local newspaper. The subscription ran out and I didn't renew it. I continued to receive newspapers and bills. Now I've received a collection letter. Do I owe the newspaper the money for the papers they delivered without my consent?

Re: Past Due Account

If there is no contract there is no obligation. The value you received is minimal. However, if the collection amount is under $100 you may be financially better offf paying the amount requested.
