Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

My ex refuses to sign off on the title to a truck on which we were coowners. He had already signed a bill of sale which i used to refinance at my bank. Is there anything i can do to compel him to sign? The bank wants their collateral.

I don't understand. Why was this not handled in your divorce? Why was there a "bill of sale?" Why does the bank need him to sign the title if this was refinanced?

Why is he refusing to sign now after entering into this bill of sale?

If this was part of your divorce action and either addressed in a marital separation agreement or divorce decree and order of equitable distribution, I would go back to your family attorney and have your ex-husband found in contem[pt.

If this was not addressed properly then you may have to bring some kind of legal action, but more information is needed about why he is refusing. Before jumping into court, I would pay a lawyer to send him a letter asking him to sign the title since he has already conveyed his interest via the bill of sale.
