Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

I am being sued by Capital One for unpaid credit card debt. I believe the amount is too high but cannot check any statements because my online account access is disabled by Capital One and I only had online statements. Do they have to let me access my old statements to verify the amount owed? I live in Pennsylvania..

You must respond to the lawsuit if it is in the court of common pleas. If in district justice court, you can simply appear at the hearing.

Once you respond, discovery can be conducted to determine the correct balance.

I would be happy to represent you in such a matter and feel free to call or e-mail with any questions.
