Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

my 15 yr old daughter was in a car that the police pulled over. the boy in the back of the car got out and ran. well to make a long story short they found guns in the car never charged my daughter but took her and the other girls to the police station and strip searched them is this legal please help she was very humiliated and affraid.

The strip search seems to be over the line...and a possible violation of civil rights. Of course, I would like to hear the details (the stuff you left out to 'make a long story short.') Feel free to email me with the details. I can't imagine the justification for strip searching a 15 year old girl, but I want to hear more.
