Assult/Disorderly
My 12 yr old daughter was being threatened by 3 boys 12/14 i grabbed the older boy by the coat and told him if he hurt my daughter i would kick his ass can i fight the assult and 3 disorderlys now aginst me

Certainly doesn't sound like it meets the definition of assault to me. Of course you can fight the charges. You need to talk with an attorney who actually knows how these charges are defined in the law and how to defend them.
