Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

i was charged with false id. i gave a cop the name i was born under but this is not the name on my license i was adopted and my name was changed when i was young but since i found out my real name ive been going by that. is there any way i can beat the case or get a lesser charge since the name i gave really wasnt fake? im on probation and im trying to avoid getting violated.

I think you should hire an attorney and fight this case to trial--the case law on false ID to authorities requires that the name in fact be false--I think this case is fightable. Give our offices a call.
