he took my computer promising to fix it
ok about 4 months ago my boyfriend (at the time) said he would fix my computer. it needed a new hard drive. as of a week ago he has still not returned it and at this point i would like to know what legal actions i can take to get it back from him

You can file a criminal complaint with the police for the theft of your computer. You may also bring a civil suit to recover the value of your lost property. If you need assistance my office would be glad to review your case.
