Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I was drinking after work at the place I was employed at. I drank so much that I blacked out and dont remember a single thing. Over the course of that night they say i stole a case of beer which I have no recollection of doing. Now they refuse to give me my check and are talking of presing charges. Dont they have a responseibility to stop serving me after im visibly intoxicated? I was hammered and was still being served. Now I dont know if i took the case or not but this never would have happened if they stopped serving me alcohol. Do I have a defense if they press charges?

Didn't you have a responsibility to stop drinking when you knew you were "hammered".

Voluntary intoxication is only a defense to first degree murder. At best it means that they can only get you for second degree murder. For any other charge voluntary intoxication is not a defense.
