Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

evidence

If evidence in a criminal investigation is obtained by a civilian breaking and entering into a business is it admissible? Also, if the police arrest the person while still breaking and entering can the police use that evidence, or is it inadmissable as it was obtained without a warrant? Thank you in advance.

Re: evidence

Admissible, unless there is "police action" or involvement. As to the second part it is admissible, too. The police were lawfully present in the business responding to a call.
