Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Is it possible to expunge a misdemeanor for marijuana possession in Vermont? The person is older then 18 and it happened almost 1 year ago.
Also, this person's current job is running a federal clearance so he can process federal paperwork. I assume this will show up and do you think they can fire him for it?
We live in PA but it happened in VT.
Thank You.

In PA it would not be possible to expunge that charge. I do not know that laws of Vermont though. I would suggest that you contact a vermont attorney.
The charge likely will show up on the FBI check and an employer can terminate for this. PA is an employment at will state, so an employer can terminate with or without cause.
Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted to hear.
