Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

How Can I find out if someone had a restraining order against them?

I have been told that my husband had a restraining order filed against him in a ''previous life'' by a former girlfriend. How can I find out the nature of the order and other details about it? It occurred in central PA in the late 90s...

find the county where the act transpired. go to the prothonotary/clerk of courts and search by his or her last name. ask the clerk for a certified copy of the document and Order. It's probably a PFA.

good luck
