Juvenil release of records

When my son was a juvenile he was charged and found guilty of a sexual offense. he denies all of the accusations. he was away for 18 months. He is now an adult, can this record be used against him in a custody case.

Re: Juvenil release of records

Judges in custody cases have much wider discretion as towhat evidence is relevant in determining the best interests of the child.

If your son was tried as an adult it is probably going to come up. If he was charged as a youth offender the records may be sealed and therefore not admissible (But not necessarily testimony about the offense). A lawyer needs to review your son's case. I offer free consultations.
