how can i find a lawyer to take my sons case pro-bono

You posted under criminal law, so I assume your son is accused of a crime. If your son is accused of a crime, and is indigent, he can obtain the services of a public defender in the county where he was arrested.

Otherwise, you will likely not find someone to do his case pro bono. We, like you, do not work for free.
