Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Misrepresentation

My fiance, a convicted drug user was in a bar. He came out and got into his vehicle and left. Got pulled over for DUI 2 blocks away. The officer approached him and said, ''OK, #name#, make this easy and tell me where the drugs are''.

He never had any with him. He is in prison now awaiting trial, however the policeman has remarked to several people that he was arrested for dealing. Is this legal? Isn't this misrepresntation, and slander? How do we stop the police from spreading vicious rumors that are completely FALSE?

Re: Misrepresentation

He's in "prison" awaiting a DUI trial???? I don't think that's accurate.

First order of business is to determine if he has a defense to the DUI charge. Was there a reason the police pulled him over? WHat does it say on the affidavit of probable cause?

He should speak with an attorney who is familiar with DUI defense as soon as possible.
