Re: molestation

Public Defenders are generally very good attorneys. They are only "free" if you cannot afford to pay a private attorney. Whether they believe you or not doesn't generally matter, the question is whether a jury will believe you.

You are facing serious charges that may have life-long consequences. It is very important that you tell your attorney, whether a public defender or a private attorney, the truth. Their job is to defend you regardless of what they may believe as to your guilt or innocence but if they don't believe you what do you think your chances are going to be with a jury?

Re: molestation

If you don't like your free lawyer, you can contact another lawyer, but most lawyers charge money to represent people in these cases.

Good Luck.
