Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Its all about the money..

How come the poor always get a crappy lawyer and go to jail while the rich get their super lawyers and walk. And what ever happened to that saying ''innocent untill proven guilty?'' Are there any lawyers around who put a persons life before a dollar sign? Why cant I get superior representation at a fair price??

It all depends on what you consider fair. If you take your car to the shop the garage will charge you $85-100 per hour. A lawyer has to go to school full time for 7 years and pay tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars for school. Many lawyers will provide lower cost services or pro bono services to deserving clients. You should be upfront about your ability to pay and explain why your case deserves special attention. I also offer free initial consultations.
