Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Stay away order

We just bailed my friend out of prision for several gun charges as follows: carrying firearms without a license, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person. His case is about him accidently shooting a gun whose bullet hit his wife in her head. His wife is now recuperating and does not want to press charges as she knows it was an accident. However, one of the stipulations for bail is that he stays away from his wife. They both want to be together and the hearing is 3 months away. Is there anything that can be done about this stay away restriction? Please help.

Thanks

Re: Stay away order

I would hire an attorney right away, and instruct the attorney to file for bail modification.

At the hearing, the wife can testify that she doesn't want the stay away order.

Feel free to call me at the office or write back to [email protected] with any further questions.
