Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Wrongfully Convicted

Who do you go to when the police dont want to look at the information, and the courts are incapable of completing their jobs in a reasonable time? The jail keeps her on an unheard of combinations of unneeded medication so she appears to have no remorse. They dont take the time to look any further for any other clues which may lead them to the person who did the crime because they are under pressure to close the case as soon as they can. The facts that are known, that would prove her innocence, are left out at the trail for an easier conviction. Another reason these facts are left out is because it would show that the people that handle the crime scene did not do a very good job at collecting information. The list of cruelty that she has been enduring is getting larger everyday. People get convicted of murdering others with a lot of evidence against them and they dont get life in prison. What has the peoples system come to when an innocent person gets life in prison with absolutely no evidence that says she did the crime? A person that is uneasy using a really sharp knife to cut food. A person who is completely against weapons and violence. A person who would do anything to help someone in need.

Re: Wrongfully Convicted

You may want to consider retaining an attorney to file a petition under the Post-Conviction Relief Act. Keep in mind that there is little chance of success and that, as much as you want to believe the person is innocent, people who are convicted of crimes are usually guilty of those crimes.
