Determination of damages for EEOC age discrimination

How does one determine damages for age discrimination when the EEOC determines that such discrimination has occurred. The affected party was a VP at a large (8 billion, sales) US company. He is 48 years of age.

Your question is much too huge to be

answered in a freebie answer on lawguru.

It is a fact-intensive issue.

If you or your friend was a VP for such a

large company, his salary should have been well

into the six figures. I would recommend that you or he

seek advice from the most aggressive

employment-discrimination lawyer in your town

and tell him OR her the salary, the bonuses,

the other benefits, the written

contract, the oral promises, etc.

Then you'll get the proper answer to your question.

The damages your friend would be entitled to are estateblished by statute. Generally, they may include back pay and front pay in addition to possible other damages. However, the damages your friend may be entitled to will depend on the facts of his case. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact me.
