Namd in a Discrimination lawsuit aganist my Company
I am an Africa-American woman named in a racial discrimination lawsuit aganist my company. My company has won the case and I want to know if I have any legal ground to sue the former employee for defimation of character and slander. She has also been calling me harrasing me about not giving her recommendation fro new employment

If your new suit is based upon the same facts, it is probable that the court will dismiss the latter suit, on the grounds of res judicate (that is that the matter had been prviously adjudicated. If, however, you can frame the facts differently and raise new and different facts upon which to base your new claim, you should be alright.
