how do we dismiss an attorney for a dui offense and go it alone

The Court may require that you have an attorney. Call the Clerk of Courts-Criminal for your county to see if representation is required.

You just fire him/her. Tell them their services are no longer needed.

Although, "going it alone" isn't a very bright thing to do. If you're not happy with your attorney, hire another one.
