Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

Driving under suspension

I have a citation for driving under suspension (DUI RELATED) but i was NOT DUI @ the time of the traffic stop. When I was stopped he let me go. Now he sent me a citation for it. Doesnt he have to take me right then and there when he catches me driving under suspension. Especially when this wasnt my first offense. Do I have a chance on this case or what???

PLEASE HELP IM DESPERATE FOR AN ANSWER!!!!

Re: Driving under suspension

The officer has a period after the stop to confirm your license status. You need to get your driving record and speak with a lawyer. If you never restored your driver's license after the DUI you may be found guilty.
