dui concerning doctors question

i got arrested for dui in which i toltaled my car. no one else thankfully was involved. two days later i went to my family doctor for back pain due to the accident. she asked me what my blood alcohol level was from the blood test the police did as she was filling out information for medical payment from my car ins. i told her but it was not the correct information. i first, did she have the right to ask under the privacy laws if she is reporting it on her forms? no one else did.

The doctor's question is not necessarily out of line, but unless you KNEW the answer first hand, I would not have guessed at your BAC. You should definitely talk to a lawyer about the underlying DUI case as soon as possible so that they can effectively defend you against this case. Feel free to call our offices to discuss.
