Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

petitioning a judge?

My husband needs to petition a judge. How do you do that? It is for a dui he had years ago. He has completed his jail time and fines but couldn't continue going to his probation officer.He went to see his probation officer 3 times but had to stop because he now lives over 3 hours away from where he was arrested and it was very difficult to get the time off of work to go. Yes, he asked the probation officer if he could have a probation officer closer to where he lived. No, the probation officer wouldn't do it. He very much wants to clear this up. This was his one and only time that he has ever been in trouble with the law. We had posted this question to your site and where told to petition the judge. So, I ask again. How do we go about doing this?

Petitioning a Judge over something this serious should be handled through a lawyer. If you cannot afford private counsel you should try the public defenders office. If they will not help you are going to need to go to the county courthouse law library and review the rules of criminal procedure (speciafically post trial procedure). I offer free consultations.
