Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Can you appeal a support agreement?

A little less than a year ago my ex and I modified our support order and we signed an agreement with an officer of the court. Last week my ex filed an appeal of this order. Can he do this? He agreed with the modification and signed it and now it has been a year.

There have been two support conferences since -this agreement was signed--as I filed to modified the agreement due to him getting a new job. Since I filed to modify, not him, I did not think he could ask for a hearing, but I guess this is an appeal which ignores all the action I have taken? It is as if the conferences to modify never occurred and somehow he is able to get a hearing off of my conferences and my petition to modify? How can this be? I thought I would have to request a hearing.

So why is he barred from ever asking for a modification? Because he agreed you're the only one who can ask for a modification? If you basing on the original agreement you can forget that as you've broken the agreement by asking for modifications. Besides his right to appeal is absolute.
