Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

communicating with father of child

Is there any legal basis for me to be instucted by my ex's attorney to not commuincate with my child's father about our daughter unless it is a medical emergency. Can I be charged with something for doing so?

Her father has done his best to try to forget he ever had her, but I keep him informed of her activities, accomplishment etc. for several reasons, one of which is that he can never accuse me of trying to keep her away from him. She is now fourteen so I guess I don't have to worry about that anymore.
