contempt by father

If I am Primary parent dose the father have the right to move my 17 yr old son into his home without me knowing about it? We share joint in schooling,dr's appts ect. The father is in contempt of court, do I have the right to remove childs things from fathers home?

What does the son want? At 17 that will be given great weight by the court.

While dad is in contempt and he should have had the order modified so what. Given the child's age is it worth paying thousands to fight this?

As to can you go take things? NO, they belong to the child not you.
