Contempt

If a person is in contempt of court for not turning over personal property for auction as a result of court decision in a divorce,what is the maximum amount of time a person can be ordered to serve time in jail. Also at the end of the max time served, can the judge sign an order forcing the sale of all property in the end?

There is no maximum time per se. The judge would likly keep the person in jail until they agree to turn over the property. Ultimately, the judge can order the sale.
