Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

My daughter has a son. She is 18 years old and is living with the child's father. He has become abusive to my daughter and she now has moved back home with me bringing her son. There is no custody papers or agreements. Does he have the right to come to my home and remove his son or can my grandson stay with my daughter in my home. Please help. He thinks because he has changed my grandson's address from his birth certificate to their apartment he has the right to remove him from my home. What right does my daughter as the mother have? Please help. thank You. Melanie

Have your daughter seek a protection from abuse order against him on behalf of her and her son.

The custody issue will be dealt with by the court in an expedited fashion on the PFA.

Good luck to them.
