i've been separated for 9years and want a divorce. is it cheaper and quicker since it's been so long and it is uncontested and what do i need to do to start

Because you have been separated for more than 2 years you can use 2 years separation as your grounds for divorce. The advantage of this over a consent divorce is it can go a bit faster.

The filing fee would be the same.

You need to start by filing a petition for divorce.
