Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

False Child Support Claim

what legal action can be taken against a woman who makes a false child support claim against a male who later finds out that he is not the father through DNA test? This would be after paying child support for almost eighteen years.

Re: False Child Support Claim

Probably none. Generally the time to challenge paternity is when the claim is made, not 18 years later. Besides think of the impact on the child who for all of their life thought your were dad.

Re: False Child Support Claim

The words of Kanye West's song come to mind. "18 years and found out the child wasn't his"

Are you sure the mother knew the child wasn't his?
