Re: family law

A contempt charge say you believe the party you are charging has disobeyed a court order.

To do this in a Pennsylvania contact your enforcement officer at the DRO. If the enforcement officer determines that the arrears are significant enough your husband will be brought into court and asked why isn't he paying. One remedy is his wages will be garnished. Failing that he may be order to pay some portion of the arrears or go to jail. General Jail will be work release that is he can still go to work but he has to return to the county jail. They charge him for the privilege of being in jail.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
