Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Father dearest?

My 1 year old son is with his dad 4 week days of every other week per court order. Several times his dad requested to have him on some week ends or even on a week day. I found out recently that the reason he is doing that is to have my son for X% of time during the year so he does not have to pay any child support. I suggested to the dad that anytime he wants my son not in the appointed time he'd have to sign saying that he voluntarily requested to have my son, etc etc. Needless to say he does not think that is a great idea. My question to you is there any chance that he will stop paying child support totally if he does have my son for a certain percentage and is that signature he reluctantly gives of any legal power?

Thanking you kindly for your time.

Re: Father dearest?

If he has your son for 40% of the year, that is 40% of the overnights or more, he may get a reduction in support. However, he will always have a support obligation to him.
