Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

As a father who only sees his daughter every other weekend... am I required, by law, to take her to every activity and party that her mother has planned for her. There are numerous things each day of the weekend that I have her and I barely get to spend any time with her because of them. They live in Delaware County, PA. Thank you for your time.

Do you have a custody agreement. What does it specify. Certainly your time wih the child is yours. However you have not indicated the age of your child or what the activities are. you should review your situation with a family law attorney to see what your oiptions are as many of these cases depend on facts. Certainly the mother should not be planning activities on purpose to take you away from your child. However many activities such as parties etc are scheduled during this period. Invest in a consultation with an attorney to see what is best in your situation.
