Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Finding a way to finalize divorce

7 years ago, I paid for a divorce, still not completed as far as I know. Is there a certain amount of time to wait to automatically obtain this divorce? Can't I receive my divorce without any further complications or waiting since

it's been so long? It was a no fault divorce. Marriage

irretreivably broken. How do I get this finished?

Re: Finding a way to finalize divorce

This will depend on what county the divorce was filed in. May counties purge inactive files after 2 years. Some keep them active even after 2 years. The divorce would also depend on if your spouse asked the court for economic relief.

Do you have any of the original paper work.
