Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

my grandchildren are in custody of my sons wife where as she is only step mother my son is going to be going to prison the grandchildren don't want to be in her custody they are 16 and fourteen they are not happy where they are they want to live with me and be with there own family . they are verbally abused wher they are and punished all the time if they don't help with the stepfather of the step mother in his dog bone business. for breakfast they are lucky if they get a pop tart most days the stepmother is never home at all what can I do to get them.children and youth where they live say they don't believe them and they are better off where they are im the grandfather what are my rights

The best interests of the children are what govern. I think a case could be made out that you are better equipped to care for then. They are also old enough to express their preferences.
