Health Insurance after separation

How long after separation (not a legal separation) do I need to cover my husbands health insurance? It's been 2 1/2 years and I can't afford a divorce. May I drop his coverage in Pennsylvania without a divorce?

I guess my first response would be to ask a question, "Why can't you afford a divorce?" A 2+ year seperation leads to a no-fault divorce.I offer payment plans and free consultations. If you have other issues precluding divorce ask your husband to reimburse you what you have to pay. If he won't then contact your HR department, they should have the proper forms.
