Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Hello

we had a written agreement (contract) when the time we separated. now he changes his mind, fight with me in the court to get a equitable distribution on the assets in the divorce court. Do we have a law in PA, the contract (was witnessed) is a legal bonding, he can not change mind any time he wants.

If you have a signed contract then when he takes you to the divorce master he will have to prove the contact invalid. Either he agreed to it under duress or you made fraudulent statements to get him to sign or you used undue influence to get him to sign.

Bottom line PA courts enforce contracts as long as they are legal.

I would want to review the contract. However, unless he can prove that it is not valid or he was forced to sign it, it should be binding. If it has certain enforcement provisions in it, perhaps you can get attorney's fees for his noncompliance.
