Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Left Husband 3 years ago and he refuses to give me my stuff can he do this?

Hi I left my husband 3 yrs ago we were married in PA he still resides there I live now in NY we are not divorced yet but havent been together in 3 yrs my question is he has refused to give me my stuff The stuff he has given me 2 yrs ago was all broken and trashed I called the local cops down there and they said its a civil matter I have asked him repeatly to give me the rest of my belongings he's refused. He also ran up my credit card by taking it when i was with him and withdrawling money off it he had agreed to pay it now says because i left him its my problem? Also says because I have a bf and a new baby that he dont owe me nothing that is mine Can he legally do this? my child is not his she is my bf's but he is now outright refusing to give me anything of mine and help pay off OUR debt. I have not asked him for anything no support or nothing. He says if i take him to court in the divorce the judge will side with him because i left him. I left him due to yrs of physical and emotional abuse and i have a police report and emails from him with threats after i left. Can he legally do all he says he can? What are my options? thanks

I am not familiar with PENN - but in NY there is equitable distribution of assets, and a court will allocate debts as well. While you still are legally married, I think a judge would find what he ran up as his responsibility. as far as personal property, the judge would distribute that as well.
