Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I got married a little over a year ago, and I am ending the marriage. Can my in-laws, who paid for the wedding, sue me for any reason?

Anyone can be sued by anyone else for anything. Can the in-laws sue? Yes. On what basis though? How have you harmed them (by damaging their property in some way)? I assume that what you are asking is whether they can somehow sue for reimbursement of the wedding costs becausee the marriage did not last real long.

The answer is no unless they have some contractual arrangement whereby you agreed to pay for some of the expenses and you did not pay.
