Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

I need an example of an opening and closing statement for a custody hearing. This is the final hearing where the judge hears from both parties and decides which parent the child is more suited with. I just need some examples so I know what to work off of and what should be said during it.

Interesting question. I've been handling custody cases all over the Commonwealth but I don't recall giving an opening statement. Sometimes I get to give a closing argument sometimes the judge asks for a proposed finding of fact and conclusions of law to be submitted in writing.

I just went against a self represented dad and his case was pitiful. He forgot that the judge wants to know about the CHILD. Study what the statute says the court should look at in determining custody.
