Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Ridiculous agreement--do we have to sign?

My fiance has a child to another woman who recently (after 3 1/2 years) gave him an agreement to sign. The first three pages seem pretty basic and ok to sign, but the remaining pages have alot we do not agree with--Such as ''both parties agree to celebrate the minor's birthday with both families present'' and a''mandatory college education''

Do we HAVE to sign one of these agreements? We know there would have to be some things taken out, and that a court would laugh at some of what she has,,,we just need to know if we should be looking for a lawyer now. Or can we just have our visitaion done through domestic relations? She has physical custody.

THe agreement says ''Consent Order for Custody and Visitation.'' My fiance only expects to have him 2 weekends of the month. THANK YOU!

Re: Ridiculous agreement--do we have to sign?

Please understand that the agreement you sign will be a legal document entered in the courts. It will be a binding agreement and technically there can not be a deviation unless both parties agree to the change.

If you do not understand--- do not sign. It is best to consult with an attorney.
