Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pennsylvania

My boyfriend and I got an apartment together about a month ago. The 19th of this month he filed a PFA against me which states that I can't contact. This means I can no longer go to our apartment anymore. Both of our names are on the lease so I was wondering if I could sue for my half of the deposit that I put down?

You should go to the PFA hearing and request that the judge modify the PFA to include that you can occupy the apartment alternately and you promise not to beat your boyfriend anymore. The court will not put you out of your house, unless the abuse is real and serious. You should also take this PFA seriously and contact an attorney. You may qualify for free legal aid. Good luck.
