Andrew Solomon Law Office of Andrew A. Solomon

It depends on what those personal reasons are. For example, some smaller PA counties have only 1 or 2 judges and the attorney might be personal friends with both. The attorney seeking a change of venue must set the specific reasons why venue should cahnged. "Personal Reasons" is too vague to cause a court to change venue. If you have a lawyer, find out the basis for the request. If not, you should go the the Prothonotary's office in the courthouse and request a copy of the Motion to transfer venue which state the specific reasons.
